Seven Wheelchairs is Gary Presley's autobiographical account of his life after becoming disabled as a result of a polio vaccination. In Unexpected Light, poet C. E. Chaffin offers a selection of his best work from a decade of writing. Tracy Koretsky, who serves as a guest reviewer for this issue, gives a thorough assessment of the top fiction books for young readers that feature characters with developmetnal disabilities in her essay, "Seeking Enlightened Portrayals."
