Interviews in this Issue

The interview section gives Wordgathering a chance to let readers know more about the changes that will be coming up as of the journal's December issue. In an interview with the Wordgathering transition team, interviewer Jim Ferris discusses some of these changes with current editor Michael Northen, future editor Diane Wiener and the Syracuse University transition team, giving an historical context to the transition and the reasons for it.

Other interviews include a discussion between Chris Gabbard and Emily K. Michael about Gabbard recent memoir of his son, A Life Worth Living and an interview with poet Trisha Knoll.

There is one final interview in this issue and it will be found in the Art section. Emily K. Michael talks with sculpture Tim Lawrence about his attempts to create experiences with animals closer to those who are blind.

Wordgathering is always open suggestions for people in the field of disability literature and arts to interview. Please check the journal Submission Guidelines. Queries can be addressed to comments@wordgathering.com.
