Prose Writing in this IssueWordgathering has received an increasing number of inqueries about the publication of fiction, so in this issue we are responding to those requests with fiction of three writers, all of whom are also poets. Tendai Mwanaka gives us two astounding vignettes based upon his exeriences during the recent elections and political uphevals in his home country of Zimbabwe. On the other end of the fiction spectrum, Ellen Williams returns with a slapstick medical comedy, though this, too is based upon her own experiences. The third fiction writer, Abbie Johnson, contributes the somewhat more conventional tale of a boy who is mentally challenged. Wordgathering is not abandoning its publication of prose that reflect upon the art of writing disability literature. Two essays, one by editor Stuart Sanderson and the other by Joyce Campbell, both reflect upon aspects of their own personal experience in writing. The prose selections in this issue are:
