Fiction in this IssueIn its effort to continue delivering new disability fiction to its readers, this issue of Wordgathering introduces four new stories. The two of them, those by Susan M. Silver and Ana Vidosavljevic have the feel of a folk tale. Brian Koukol's story would fit in perfectly as an episode from The Twilight Zone. The remaining tale Salvatore Difalco's refuge is a tale squarely in the tradition of realism that is set in a psychiatric hospital.
Wordgathering welcomes submissions of new disability fiction. Those submitting work to the journal should check our Submission Guidelines. Wordgathering does not publish novels but will publish short excerpts of upcoming novels in our Excerpts section. Queries can be addressed to comments@wordgathering.com. Return to Top |
