About UsWordgathering was founded in March 2007 by members of the Inglis House Poetry Workshop, a collaborative of writers with disabilities who reside at Inglis House in Philadelphia, Pa. The workshop, established in 1998, has been meeting, sharing and critiquing poetry for the past fourteen years. They have worked to promote the writing of poets with disabilities through the annual Inglis House Poetry Contest and its resultant chapbook productions. Editor-in-chief of Wordgathering is Michael Northen. Associate poetry editors are Sheila Black, Linda A. Cronin and Jill Khoury. Jill Khoury and Sean Mahoney recorded the audio versions for many of the poems in this issue. Eliot Spindel is the webmaster and provider of technical support. Editorial assistance in this issue was provided by Sean Mahoney. Book reviewers for this issue were Kathryn Allan, Jim Ferris, Ana Garza G'z, Ellen La Fleche Maura Madden, Adam Pottle and Kristen Wituckie. Founding emeritus members are Stuart Sanderson, Dana Hirsch, Yvette Green and Denise March. Wordgathering hosts a Facebook for writers interested in keeping up with the work of authors published here.
