Interviews and Arts in This Issue

The interviews and arts features of Wordgathering are among the most popular, and this issue should keep that interest high. Chris Kuell, the editor of Breath and Shadow, one of the country's most important online journals for literary work by writers with disabilities, discusses his work with that publication. Also interviewed are widely published poet Hal Sirowitz and his wife, memoirist and essayist Minter Krotzer. Our arts section offers two exciting pieces. Alex Lubet, musician, composer and professor of music at the University of Minnesota describes his experiences composing guitar music for limited right hand playing, including a snippet from his l latest album. In the visual arts, Amanda Cachia describes "What Can a Body Do?," the upcoming exhibit that she is curating at Haverford College. Included are photographs of the work of seven of the artists in the exhibit.
