WordgatheringA Journal of Disability Poetry |
|
Essays and Fiction in This IssueThree of the essays in this issue present differing perespectives on disability poetry. C. E. Chaffin's essay touches upon a subject not discussed in this journal before, the writing of love poetry. Anne Kaier's "River Creature," by taking a new perspective, builds upon our discussion of the ways that individual poets work at defining themselves through their work. Michael Northen caps his series of essays on the development of disability poetry by discussing its creative contributions.
Fiction selections continue the work of two writers familiar to Wordgathering readers. Liesl Jobson is present with more flash fiction from her recent collection 100 Pieces and Ellen Williams checks in with one of her trade mark tongue-in-cheek stories.
