Olfa Drid is an ex-international Volleyball player, an English teacher, a PhD scholar and a committed writer from Tunisia whose cause is wording and unveiling the buried emotions and phobias of the oppressed and the downtrodden. Her poems appeared in different online and print literary journals in Tunisia, USA, Canada, India, Europe and Uzbekistan. Some of her poems were also translated into Arabic, Serbian and the Assamese language. She published a play entitled Sublime Revenge and a collection of poetry entitled (Un)jailed under her pen name Olfa Philo.
