Krishna Kumar
DEPTH
I’m a river
Silvery moon slivered
Into liquid flow
Bosomed by the naked arms
Of the banks
I show my fruits
To your teeth
Tempting you
To strip and swim.
But keep afloat:
Dare not
Dip deep
Silt of sins
Heaped in the depth
It’ll blind your light
And lure you sin
You’ll emerge tainted
And return my embraces
No more.
Krishna Kumar is a budding poet who has published his poems in
Jeevan and Vision through Words. He's proud to have become blind
as it inspired him to write poetry. He says that world has robbed of
his sight, but poetry has replaced it with vision. He hopes to poetize
more in coming days.
