to a stainless steel wheelchair:
Lettting go
of pangs
and affiliations;
movement becomes mental
as consciousness steams
into education of yourself,
more of yourself than possible;

longing to cascade
down remote avenues.

Grandma's Lincoln.
Makes sure blue placard
hangs from rear view mirror.
Cruise to the mall,
park near the font door
as the disabled
wander in circles.
