About the Artist
Michelle Steiner lives with an invisible disability. She has articles published on The Mighty, Non-Verbal Learning Project, Dyscalculia Blog, The Reluctant Spoonie, Kalonopia Collective, Imagine the World as One Magazine, and Wordgathering. Her photographs have been featured in Wordgathering, Independent, and Work Ready. She has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Butler County Community College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Programming for Americans with Disabilities, from Slippery Rock University. She works as a paraeducator in a school for students with disabilities. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two cats.
